With the development of economy, high-rise buiding is becoming increasing multi-commercial use. In order to fulfill the need of diversification, some new structures have been designed. The three-tower connecting structure with a large base is one of them. Today there are a lot of research on the connecting structure of two-tower with a large base. But very few of research on the connecting structure of three-tower with a large base. Thus it is of great signnificance to conduct its research.The main work done in this thesis is as the followings:(1) Static characteristics of three-tower connecting with a large base are analyzed. During the primary designing, a general structure could be selected according to their different characteristics.(2) Dynamic calculation of three-tower connecting with a large base has been done. According to the analysis, the conclusions that the inner factor of the torsion is related to the stiffness matrix are obtained.(3) Selection of dynamic methods of three-tower connecting structure with a large base has been discussed when using the reaction spectrum method.(4) The influence of connecting forms on structural performance has been analyzed between the connecting structures.(5) Influence of the height of the base has been analyzed. A rational height has been proposed.(6) Influence of locations of connecting corridors on structural performance has been discussed.(7) Nonlinear static procedure analysis of a three-tower connecting structure has been done by using the software MIDAS/Gen. The characteristic of its destroying has been analyzed. It was pointed out that the difference of the weakness between the uni-tower with a large base and the three-tower connecting structures with a large base.
