Gear pump has many merits such as simple structure, small volume, light weight, strong self-absorption, insensitive oil pollution, reliable working, low cost, so it is used widely as one kind of hydraulic pump. It also has some demerits such as uneven flux, low pressure, unbalanced radial force, small displacement, strong noise, which does not conform to the idea of modern design. It is limited to apply in the high performance request, especially required high flow characteristic. So in this article new type multi-gear pump is designed by replacing the common gear with Logix gear based on the working principle of common gear pump.First, multi-gear pump is a new type gear pump, which is developed based on the common gear pump. It has many merits such as large displacement, balanced radial force, low flow pulse, stable transmission, small volume and so on.Second, Logix gear is a new type gear, which was thought out by Japanese scholar. The contact strength of the Logix gear is three times as strong as that of common gear and bend strength is two point five times as strong as that of common gear.Combining with both merits, the flowing parts are discussed in this article:1,The forming principle and the equation of profile of Logix gear are analyzed and calculated in detail. The choosing reference of parameter is worked out based on studying the parameter of Logix gear.2,The working principle, structure principle and flow characteristic of Logix multi-gear pump are analyzed in detail based on the common gear pump. The curve of flow characteristic is emulated by the computer. The emulation result prove that the flow characteristic of Logix multi-gear pump is better than that of common gear pump, the displacement is twice as big as that of common gear pump and the coefficient of flux pulse is one fourth of that of common gear pump.3,With the calculating performance of MATLAB, the profile of Logix is emulated and the result of emulation is put into Pro/ENGINEER. Finally, the 3D parameterized modeling of Logix gear is realized. Then statics of gear is analyzed with the finite element of ANSYS and other kind of force is analyzed too. The result indicates that the radial force of center gear of Logix multi-gear pump is balanced and the contact stress is much smaller than that of common gear pump.4,At last, the structure of machine sample is designed and manufactured based on above analysis. Two allotting oil plate are designed so as to realize the new type of allotting oil. |
