The multi-gear pump is a new type hydraulic component based on the theory of the common external gear rotary pump. It has such merits as large discharge, good flow characteristic, driving stable, low noise, small capacity, the balanced radial force on the center wheel, etc.The common gear pump has such merits as simple structure, low cost, insensitive oil pollution, etc. but it has such demerits as high flow pulsation, unbalanced radial force, strong noise, etc. The multi-gear pump ultimately solves some important problems such as unbalanced radial force of the common gear pump, high flow pulsation, etc. This dissertation researches from lower three parts:Firstly, synthetically analyzing performance of the common external gear rotary pump, this dissertation profoundly researches into the theory of the principle of the multi-gear pump structure, initial displacement, meshing point displacement and alternating rule, flow characteristic of two kinds multi-gear pump. Moreover, emulation analyzing flow characteristic of the multi-gear pump, emulation result conforms to the theory analysis. All demonstrate that flow characteristic of the multi-gear pump is better than common gear pump.Secondly, analyzing statics characteristic of the multi-gear pump demonstrates that radial hydraulic pressure, meshing force and resultant force are balanced on the center wheel. Finally, in this dissertation, a mathematical model is built on the target of the minimal size of the multi-gear pump, optimization method is chose, general program is established, and the result of the optimum design is got. Furthermore, blueprint of the multi-gear pump is designed on the basis of the result.Fig. [39] Tab. [1] Ref. [48]...
