The Study Of Waterange Landscape In The City Of Wuhan

In the water-net area, the development of waterage is an important factor which the city become an economic center, and it is also the source of the driving force for development of city. Along with the development of water transportation ,waterage landscape has become a part of people's lives. However, the rapid economic development of modern industrialized society has given an strong impact to the waterage.The shipping functions were stressed and meanwhile rivers were seriously contaminated by the industrial waste water.Laterly,following the development of trailways, highways and other modern transport facilities, the status of water transportation was declined, and gradually lost its transport function. Moreover,some rivers and lakes were landfilled with municipal refuse or covered as roads or sewers. Landscape in the water-net area also lost its original vitality.In the mid-20th Century ,the concept of "sustainable development" was put forwarded which make the relationship between humans and water more friendly. we entered into the new age that humans and water are in hydrophilic state. Under this new environmental awareness, and the new scientific and technological strength, and the new demand for high quality of life , the development of water-landscape get new opportunity. including natural landscape and cultural landscape ,water landscape tours has gradually shown its vitality.It is also the way of protection of water resources . Wuhan has made great achievements in the water-landscape, but it is not enough.and has some problems. The purpose of the study of this topic is to find out these problems, analyzing the reasons, mining water resources into the landscape resources,ultimately forming diversified, integrated water landscape system.The thesis contains six parts. Chapter I is the introduction of the research projects about its value and its purpose .And then limit the related concepts.Nextly, compared with the related research and study at home and abroad , analyzing their inspiration and inadequate .Chapter II is the basic research, review the history of water-landscape development process, analyzing the declinig reasons in Wuhan, and concluding that it need further development. Chapter III analyzing the research situation and the existing problems. Proposed that during the Construction of the waterlandscape system we should focus on the protection of the natural environment and the continuation of historical context.Chapter IV cleaning up water and related resources of the historical and cultural sites such as bridges, piers finishing culture in Wuhan which is a prominent aspect.Chapter V, The article made reference to the number of heritage buildings and historical sites protected by international charter, which is based on restoration of bridges have already been buried.Chapter VI on the basis of the whole analysis , the connectivity of water-landscape in Wuhan was outlined , repairing the old bridges and old piers. depicteing water-landscape blueprint for a better system.
