The paper study the issue performance of the multi-link suspension system. Because the appraisal base on comparison, so this article establish the double A wishbone torsion front independence suspension as well as the five links torsion which obtained from the improvement of the former suspension, also establish the rigid-twist multi link suspension to be closed with the actual result, analyze the superiority and deficiency of multi-link suspension used the three results on the simulation. And the paper also discussed the designed parameters which can reasonably appraise the suspension performance, and how those parameters change is reasonable, as well as use what type of the testing method to appraise those design parameters.The suspension system research field including dynamics, kinematics and elastic kinematics, and the appraise of the suspension performance also should separately research at these two fields. This article explore the characteristics of the front five links torsion suspension in the field of the kinematics and the elastic kinematics.The paper first establish simulation model of the double A wishbone torsion front suspension system and the steering system in the ADAMS/CAR software according to the vehicle structure and the correlation data. And establish the corresponding five links suspension system and the steering system simulation model carry on the suitable transformation of the guidance organization, and establish the rigid-twist mixed front suspension system based on the transformation the rigid bar to the flexibility about the above and low four arms. And the paper point out the comparative analysis rationality to these three kinds of suspension carrying on the kinematics and the elastic kinematics characteristic. Then the paper point out twenty parameter to appraise the kinematics and elastic kinematics characteristic of independent suspension, know the definition of these parameters, and elaborate the important performance influence of these parameters to automobile operation stable and their reasonable change tendency or scope, Meanwhile this paper point out many kinds of simulation and bench test method to appraise kinematics and elastic kinematics characteristic of the independent suspension. Finally, in the ADAMS/CAR software platform, analyze the simulation results according to appraisal target and the testing method of the kinematics and the elastic state of motion, and point out the superiority of the multi-link suspension compared to the double wishbone torsion suspension as well as the flexible simulation can enhance the simulation accuracy.
