A testing and controlling system based on LabVIEW for performance of converter scroll compressor is designed by improving the traditional testing conditions and summarying up the compressor performance testing system at homeand abroad, which perferms to the model for the research and testing of the scroll compressor.Based on analyzing the performance of the converter scroll compressor comprehensively, the items for testing scroll compressor was selected. Then based on the corresponding detection method, the converter scroll compressor testing frame was designed. The second refrigerant calorimeter method was chose and the converter scroll compressor testing system was designed and implemented in LabVIEW.Control system of the system is divided into 2 parts, PC control and bottom layer distribute control. The thesis brings forward the scheme of distribute control system. Then bottom layer control component with the rule in control module, greatly decreased the need of communication belt width between PC and sensor, intensity real time control with the PLC and converter controlling the test frame bed conditions and the speed of scroll compressor.The development of testing system and measurement data management system for converter scroll compressor is achieved by using the three-tier progressive modular design and development of software testing methods, by logging data into Access Database with LabSQL which works as interface between LabVIEW and Access. Testing Data Management System can fetch data through LabSQL, then works out the performance characters and can display optional performance graph of these computing results realized with curve fitting VI; printing report function can be executed by Report generation nodes of LabVIEW.In the last chapter, these results of the performance of theoretical and experimental analysis provide the type and quantity of the converter scroll compressor energy loss so that qualitative analysis could be replaced by to quantitative analysis of the converter.In summation, it is showed that the performance test system based on the converter scroll compressor is provided with favorable adaptability and practicability. The system can achieve the performance test of various types of scroll compressor and can be applied further to real project.
