With the increasingly prominent issue of traffic congestion, how to effectively relieve the traffic congestion and improve the utilization of urban road have become the focus of research in present traffic area. Intersection as the connection of urban traffic roads is the source of traffic congestion,coupled with the randomness and uncertainty of traffic flow,traditional traffic timing control of connection has been unable to obtain good results. Therefore, intelligent signal control based on real-time detection has becomes one of effective way in easing traffic congestion.By the comments of traditional traffic detection,compare and analysis the advantages of RFID used in traffic detection, this thesis taken the city route as study object,aim at establishing an dynamic Green Wave Control based on RFID real-time detection which signal control strategies(signal cycle,green ratio,phase) changed with traffic status.Firstly, through the analysis of traffic flow characteristics of route and intersection of entry and exit,this thesis select three place: near the intersection of route and near the intersection of spur and upstream intersection of route, to installation RFID detection point, in order to detect and recognize the three above-mentioned traffic flow and establish a database of detected data.By calling the date in database,studying collection method of key traffic information of key transport parameters(traffic flow, average speed, traffic density and road occupancy rate), arriving traffic flow of intersections and traffic congestion degree level.Secondly, adopt stratified solving thinking to establish the tactics of Green Wave Control based on RFID detection.On the basis of detection and calculate of arriving traffic flow of each imported road of each intersection and congestion level of sections between adjacent intersection, coupled with timing signal control method,study the calculation method of route public signal cycle and green ratio to each intersection,then under the detection and calculate of average speed, establishment phase optimization model based on route minimum delay to coordinate the phase of adjacent intersections in route.Finally, set up examples of city routes system and solve public signal cycle and green ratio of each intersection according to the method set in this thesis.Then Select Particle Swarm Optimization to solve the phase in the minimum delay model and simulated on MATLAB, then compare and analysis route delays between fixed timing and Optimization timing, concluded that the Green Wave Control model established based on RFID detection in this paper is feasible for alleviate congestion.
