The vehicle vibration is the important factor which influences Vehicle functions and this kind of vibration will seriously influence ride comfort performance and other functions of vehicle.So, vehicle vibration measurement, signal processing and ride comfort analysis is a very important part.As the traditional test method needs many elaborate test instruments,the test require plenty of manpower and material resource. With the development of computer and software, virtual instrument has become one direction of measurement fields. In this paper the use of the advantage of virtual instrument are made to develop the test system of vehicle vibration.This author develop virtual instruments of vehichle vibration measurement and ride comfort analysis system based on PC as hardware workbench, LabVIEW which developed by American National Instruments corporation as development software, essential sensor, signal conditioner and data acquisition card. This system can effectively control data acquisition, processing and display in computer.The customer can process vehicle vibration signals using the blocking idea in the computer. The signal sampling includes two kinds, free sampling and trigger sampling which corresponded to contiguous random sample and impact signal respectively. The main analysis procedure is made up of time domain, scope domain, frequency domain, joint time and frequency domain and ride comfort analysis.It can process signals in these ways, including Auto Correlation, Cross Correlation, mean and standard deviation, probability density and probability distribution statistic, Auto Power Spectrum, Cross Power Spectrum, Cestrum and Frequency Response as well as Short-time Flourier Transfer and ride comfort analysis.The feasibility and practicability was proved by experiments, and the result shows the system has stable and all-round functions, it also has good expansibility and high cost performance.
