By analyzing the H_∞control theory and the weakness of existing Arc Suppression Coils (ASC), a new type of active & full compensation arc suppression programme based on a sensitivity H_∞control technology is proposed. Discuss the structure and working principle of the new type of ASC, and analysis and research on the arc-suppression control.Based on the analysis of H_∞control applying on the parallel-control system of APF, we focus on analyzing the applicational characteristics of the active & full compensation arc suppression coils, and realize designing of the new control system based on H_∞control theory. Using mixed sensitivity H_∞control theory to design Robust Controller that does not depend on objective model, so achieve of compensation current dynamic tracking and optimization of control, and then proceed to meet the control requirements on the basis of the design of the controller reduced order processing, in favor of engineering practice. MATLAB simulation and analysis through verified the correctness of the method. Offer sufficient theoretic support for the applying of active & full compensation arc suppression .
