Study On Techniques And Methods Of The Overhead Transmission Line Operating States Monitoring

The transmission line's operating states are of vital importance to the power grid's operating efficiency and safety. After introducing the present situation of transmission line's operating states monitoring and the problems to be solved, and based on realization of dynamic current-ratings increasing, this paper presents the specific methods and solutions on transmission line's operating characters monitoring. According to the scheme's function demand, the hardware structure and circuit designs are accomplished, and in associated with the device's working condition, a new technique based on GPRS and short -distance wireless transmission is advanced which effectively solved the data transmission problem. Finally, the monitoring terminal's software part is preliminarily layout and the system's realization technique& reliability are proposed.
