Transmission line as an important part of electric power system, is the artery of power system, the reliability and stability determines the overall performance of the power system. Our electric power industry has developed rapidly, network coverage is more widely, the line voltage grade is higher, informatization and intellectualization demand is higher, the maintenance management of transmission lines face a bigger challenge. Transmission line condition monitoring system as an important content of the smart grid, is the important technology to enhance the level of professional management. Thus,design and develop a set of reliable performance,functional state of transmission line monitoring system is very necessary.Transmission line on-line monitoring system contains the front acquisition device,communication transmission network and monitoring center. Communication transmission network and related technology as an important part of system is the key in this paper.In this paper, we analysis of transmission line on-line monitoring system for communication transmission network architecture, combined with the current communication technology, we design a broadband wireless private network scheme,using the expansion of communication technology and carrier modulation technique to improve the existing OFDM technology, combining with the antenna technology,bandwidth 54 M, transmission distance is greater than 10 km broadband wireless private network. Through theoretical analysis, communication transmission distance increases sharply, the expected results have been achieved in practical application.In order to access to the security access platform, based on the hybrid network scheme, we upgrade the communication terminal on the front tower and the end tower,and increase the power controller. To meet its encryption chip can only provide maximum 1 MBPS rate requirements, On the basis of H.264, we using a kind of video compression technology to meet the bandwidth requirement, by means of compress the resolution ratio and frame rate, finally realizes the video data compression. Through test and actual operation, the scheme has achieved the expected effect.
