Distribution Load Monitoring System Based On GPRS

This paper mainly discusses the methods and concrete realization of the process for power distribution load monitoring using GPRS technology and management information systems. Firstly, introduces the basic theory of GPRS technology and determines to use GPRS network for data transmission through the demonstration of the superiority of the GPRS and the analysis to GPRS in the electric power communications network feasibility; secondly, introduces the management information system related knowledge and development kit selection, passes through the detailed analysis as well as with instructs teacher's discussion, this system chose Eclipse to develop the power MIS; thirdly, introduces the system design programmers and GPRS communication protocol; then mainly introduces the design of the database and distribution transformer monitoring centre software based on GPRS. the results of the paper will provide a scientific basis for achieving real-time monitoring of distribution transformer and ensuring the normal distribution network optimizational operation, GPRS monitor and management system can be use as a part of power usage system ordistribution automation system. It has important signification to dispatch and distributeload. It has great benefits to society and economy.
