With continuous increase of the railway train's speed, the environmental noise problems which are caused by the high speed railway have also gradually attracted the people's attention.A new pattern of noise predicting which adapt to the characteristics of domestic high speed railway project is quested, noise prediction and environment influence assessment system for high speed railway based on GIS is designed ,and the assessment of the high speed railway environmental noise impact based on the predict result to provide some useful information in the process of alternatives selection during feasibility study, design, construction and service stage is acquired in this dissertation.The railway noise is one kind of environmental pollution which brings by the train's high speed running ,predicting and simulating railway noise needs processing massive data and analysis the model, at present the predicting and simulating patterns which being used broadly and universally, are spot pattern and line pattern. First one is being used in Japanese Shinkansen (also called as north land method),which looks the high speed running train as a series of spot noise source, and also the second one is Schall03 pattern used in Germany. The third one is called as pattern method, which being used in our homeland and looks the train noise as a limited-length line noise source.Bases on the systemic analysis of the noise source mechanism of high speed railway, the three kinds patterns' advanced place is combined, a new predicting and simulating pattern line-point pattern, its characteristic is that it can simulate the real situation of running train is established, therefore its result of noise predicting will be more approached to the actual case, and according to the predicting results and the degree coefficient of satisfaction which is surveyed by the residents along the railway lines, overlay method based on GIS is selected out as a basic method to gain a quantitative result, named noise comprehensive impact area. The result reflects the environmental impact degree of high speed railway line noise, which is used easily in alternatives selection. These are taken as the foundation, noise prediction and environment influence assessment system for high speed railway based on GIS is preliminarily established, which develop MapX secondly using by VB.net. Not only high speed railway noise prediction and noise environmental influence assessment is realiezed in this system but also many functions, such as the search for high speed railway control methods, environmental noise criterion, multi-conditions predicting results and noise barrier or greenbelt can be set in assessment map to simulate and calculate, thereby the visual degree is enhanced and easy to operate.At last, a conclusion is made and the problems that need further study are discussed in this dissertation.
