With the clean planning of the national railway network structure and layout scheme adjusted by the Ministry of Railway in 2008, China is being a peak period of railway construction. The Construction period of railway construction project is the period that makes the most effect on the ecological environment, and railway construction activities will cause ecosystems ecological risk to railway road region. The ecological environment would suffer a lot if some timely and effective risk management measures don't take. In order to reduce or avoid the ecological risk caused by high-speed railway construction, it is very important to study on the high-speed railway ecological risk assessment and to build the high-speed railway into the ecology-friendly railway line. Qinghai-Tibet Railway Construction's management to domain ecosystem caused a large number of scholars began the project on traffic regional ecological risk assessment concern, but there are still many detailed issues need further study. Aiming at the problems of high speed railway construction risk assessment during rialway construction period, the following work has been done:(1) The basic theory of regional ecological risk assessment has been studied, and by using of landscape ecology and regional ecological risk assessment theoies, the basic theory for high-speed railway domain complex ecosystems and its ecological risk assessment framework has been researched.(2) The high-speed railway construction's potential adverse effects to railway domain ecosystem has been analysed, the high-speed railway ecological risk assessment index system based on the pressure-state-response model in which the risk sources, the receptor of risk and risk management were concerned has been established. Graphics overlay method to evaluate the various sub-goals in the application of ArcGIS software, and the gray triangle whitening weight function theory was used to evaluate the ecological risk state of whole railwayrod region.(3) Key technologies of high-speed railway ecological risk management has been researched based on science of ecological restoration and some other theories. Some specific ecological risk management measures has been made from the ecological risk avoidance, prevention,the ecological impact of the compensation, ecological restoration and ecological construction.(4) By using of VB2005 and ArcEngine9.2 take shape of GIS-based ecological risk assessment decision support system of high-speed railway system initially. The main function of system implementation is to provide decision-making management support through the basic operation of GIS and SQL database operations to conduct individual ecological risk assessment and gray triangle whitening weight function clustering evaluation.Finally, the research results were applied to the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway to achieve the way the domain of ecological risk management decision support functions.
