An integral and reasonable appraisal system is in a urgent need in recent years with Green Architecture is known and acceptable by most of people and the growing and development of green residential area.On the one hand, foreign countries had already got the advanced appraisal system. The relevent ones had already issued in recent years by our national government as well as some local ones issued by some of the native provinces and cities. But Chengdu area had not published an integral green residential area apprasial system yet. On the other hand, the traditional apprasial system, which used to be implemented by the weight defined beforehand and marked by experts, had already exposed some issues. It is widely discussed whether there is any better apprasial way.Just against such a backdrop, the original intention of this paper is to combine humane climate and geographical characteristics of chengdu area, a complete set of established for the evaluation system in Chengdu. In the assessment of the way to a breakthrough in attempts to macro ecology for the economic theory of the ecological footprint assessment of the introduction of green residential area, with a more rational assessment.Firstly,this paper list of the six major domestic and international green residential area evaluation system, and its comparative analysis. Secondly,on the basis of this combination of features in Chengdu, green residential area on the various aspects of each of concern for analysis, given the Chengdu green residential area related to the design and evaluation of the strategy. thirdly, in a comprehensive solicited the views of the relevant experts identified Index System. Finally,Evaluation System score in the process of integrating the AHP Analytic Hierarchy Process, fuzzy math analysis, so that the weight of the establishment and the final score more scientific results.At last,the ecological footprint theory will be introduced in Chengdu green settlements assessment system innovatively, using reduction indicators of ecological footprint to measure green settlements in the various aspects of the ecological performance uniformly. The ecological contribution of land saving, water saving, energy saving, material saving and pollution avoiding in a different dimension will be measured uniformly ,which is conducive to different aspects of visual comparison of the contribution of the ecological size.Then,we can compare the ecological footprint of entire ecological Settlements (DEF) with ecological carrying capacity of the integration of the region to analyse the relationship of settlements and the overall ecosystem directly; Relating various ecological technology or measures of ecological contribution with the costs is benefit to analyze the environment of residential area - Cost efficiency . In summary, the result of ecological footprint calculation will not only help experts mark, but also revise the scores from appraisal system to get the final assessment rank.
