Laser-scanned diameter-profiling technology plays an important role in modern industry measurement, and is used widely. In this dissertation, laser-scan technology is presented in detail, the working mechanism of the laser-scan measuring system and the reasons of measurement errors are also presented, and laser-scan measurement experiment is practiced, which is based on my lab conditions.Keep to these points, several works are carried out as follows:1. Firstly, starting from the optical-scan theory, the working theory of the whole laser-scan measurement system and every work section in the system are expounded. And, some traditional measurement methods are compared with laser-scan measurement technology in theory and feasibility, such as the CCD method.2. Experiment is practiced based on the working theory of laser-scan measurement; the system is divided into several sections: optics section, optics-electronics transform section, and signal processing section. Every section is practiced in the experiment, feasible components and better experiment methods are ascertained. The errors in measurement precision are analyzed in detail, including theory and experiment. The error reasons are ascertained concretely, and solutions are provided. Such as the collimation and focusing of laser beam, the use of f -θlens, and so on.3. At last, the experiment is summarized and analyzed, prospect is brought forward. To sum up, the theoretical and experimental work of laser-scan measurement System in this dissertation have been done, some good results in some sections are got. Meanwhile, some valuable experiences in this experiment have been scraped up, which is useful to future work.
