Design And Implementation Of SCADA System

With the development of distribution automation, distribution SCADA system will be used widely. But there are same functions in some modules between distribution SCADA system and dispatch SCADA system, and they need often communicate with each other. The cost will be increased when one city or county's power company using two SCADA systems. By the basic theory and characteristic of distribution system, we developed a system that can be used for both distribution SCADA and dispatch SCADA.First, we make large requirement analysis according to distribution and dispatch system's features, especially for the data collection module and fault diagnosis module. Second, designing and programming on the requirement, using Qt language to develop data view and fault diagnosis GUI, using net layer plat, RDB plat of DF8002 system as base softwares. We achieved data collection module, data processing module and fault diagnosis module. final, we had the test in laboratory and user's site.By far, the system had been successfully used in several city and county's power companies in YunNan and GuangXi province, and had good effect and was praised by users. Of course, the system still has some problems that need be improved. In the future, more computer technology such as OOD, Internet, and COM will be used in SCADA system, and SCADA system will be an intellectualized system.
