The project of combined heating and power production has the synthetical benefit of saving energy, meliorating environment, improving heating quality and increasing electricity supply, which also accords with the national policy and development tactic. In this article, the author applies the theory and methods of feasibility to a project of combined heating and power production to carry through the qualitative and quantitative analysis as well as the study on the project.Firstly, this article narrates the basic theory of the feasibility of the combined heating and power project and analyzes the forecast of market demand. Secondly, it contrasts the several engineering technique schemes, especially analyzing the main aspects, such as purchasing, transportation, selection of equipment and the site of factory, to get the conclusion that this project would have high competitive ability and high profit.This article analyzes the project's main inside and outside conditions, whichis based on the society-techonology-economy-politics status analytical way. It also applies the SWOT model to this project so that the decision-maker could be familiar with the advantage and disadvantage of the project.Through the feasibility analyse of RQ project, the conclusion could be confidently got that RQ power generation answers for the national saving-energy and decreasing-emission regulation. It is also helpful to improve the local environment as well as to allay the stress of local electric market.
