| The urban construction of china has come into a high speed developing period along with the economic development. The city`s appearance has changed rapidly and enormously. The change brings us progress. At the same time, it also makes the city lost its regional culture characteristics. Hulunber is where the Mongolian originated from, it is the only location which three minorities of Oroqen, Ewenki and Daur inhabited in. Due to the lack of overall planning and control, most of the urban buildings have been constructed with the identical technology. It has exposed that the city has loses its minority culture. People have begun to aware of the importance of the urban architectural style. From 2001, HulunBeier government had transformed some building facet and some of the streets. But it does not totally show the national characteristics. The architecture style is still not clear. Also, the consideration to the protection of architecture is not enough and other problems still exist.The paper makes architectural style of HulunBeier as the study object. Firstly, it analyses the city's architectural characteristics and its historical evolution and existing problems. It starts with studying the four minorities` cultural connotation, and then establishing and the macro-development objectives of building a city with grassland customs. Secondly, based on the existing ethnical style building distribution, we plotted the four ethnic style into four further control style levels including limitation district, control district, development district and coordination district. Also, we discussed about the concepts of water segmentation, plants inducement, the location control, and the method of architecture rebuilding for the area of style-intersection. Finally, the project described how the national culture used in the architecture designing in forms of shape metaphors, conception research, symbols characterization. Generally, the study of regional architectural segmentation and the discussion of the urban architectural style has an important theoretical and practical value in the manifestations of the culture of HulunBeier and in the national style building development process. |
