Inheritance And Development Of Qi And Lu Regional Architecture Culture

In the context of globalization, and more and more modern buildings on the wave of criticisms, people realized the necessity and urgency of respecting the nature and carrying traditional regional culture forward, and thus trigger re-thinking how to correctly deal with the problem of tradition and modernity in modern architecture creation. Because of regional differences and different concept of living, vernacular architecture expresses strong geographical characteristics, it can provide great guiding significance for the regional modern architectural creation.This paper mainly targets on Zhujiayu settlement in Qi and Lu region, together with other related areas buildings in this region. On the basis of practical investigations, the author made a comprehensive analysis and research by means of induction and deduction, comparison and contrast, etc. The research frame mainly divides into three major parts, the first part is the background materials, analyzed the big background which Zhujiayu settlement survived and developed, including the natural environment, social environment and cultural context. The second part is the morphological analysis, including the settlement shape and the buildings shape as well as technology and decoration technique, and summarized the local construction culture characteristic. The third part is the practical significance, the author unions successful case of modern regional architecture creation, and makes a conclusion of Zhujiayu settlement's consideration and inspiration of the Qi and Lu region's modern architectural design, it brings forward the principle in the light of its practical significance in building a new socialist countryside, the research congsiders that the Qi and Lu region's modern architectural design can absorb the positive attitude in symbiotic harmony with the surrounding environment, complete freedom of architectural space, decorative detail of cultural characteristics, the use of local materials and construction techniques in Zhujiayu's vernacular architecture. And the new rural construction should consider more meticulously in the way of farmers' life and living habits, it also should learn from the planning and construction concepts of Zhujiayu settlement to create a village form which is full of local characteristics. In addition, the auther gives the constructive comment to Zhujiayu settlement the next protection, development and inheritance.
