As the enhancement of the people on residential comfortableness request's, in pursuit of energy conservation, comfort, health, efficiency of indoor thermal environment to become the key point which the people pay attention day by day. In the cold areas, to improve the indoor living environment, the balcony is sealed up by residents spontaneously or sealed up at the beginning of the design, but after balcony seal, there are the contradiction to residential indoor thermal environment that is benefits and negative in winter and summer. Research the thermal environment condition of the room with balcony closed, then takes the essential technical method to improve its thermal environment that it has the specially significance to enhance the housing comfortableness.This article conducts the research in view of thermal environment which is the cold local housing seal balcony room. First, start with the heat transfer process analysis of seal balcony room, build physical model and mathematical model to room, and take some Xi'an dwelling houses as example, analyzes thermal environment condition of the balcony room in whole year by using energy consumption simulation software DeST-h.Next, I carried on the contrast analysis to the thermal environment condition of balcony room in the winter and summer from two aspects of practical test and the questionnaire. The test result indicated that seal balcony room indoor temperature compared to the wide-open balcony room high 1.2℃in summer, seal balcony room indoor temperature compared to the wide-open balcony room high 1.1℃in winter. So, seal balcony to be disadvantageous to the room thermal t environmental effect in summer. Have carried on the contrast the typical date's test temperature and the simulation temperature, may obtain by the contrast result that the trend of analogue result with actual result consistent basically, DeST-h may forecast the room internal thermal environment. Finally, in view of existing problem in thermal environments of seal balcony room, from the design of outside microclimate, the building enclosure, the ecology space, the visor and ventilated to propose the improvement measure, has carried on the computation analysis to the different improvement measure using DeST-h. The best measure to improve the thermal environment of sealed balcony room in summer is the visor and ventilates, therefore, this article proposed the suitable balcony visor plan, and pointed out that the inhabitant is unable to be ventilated effectively in opening the window when the outdoor temperature is lower than the balcony temperature, may use the seal balcony ventilated cooling design proposal which based on the principle of the thermo-compression ventilates to improve the room with the balcony closed thermal environment, has confirmed its temperature decrease effect through the semi-quantitative computation. I hoped that these measures can provide certain reference for thermal environment design of room with closed balcony.
