Mostly, the industrial architectures are considered as containers of the equipment, which are hulking and crassitude. Usually they occupy a large floor, consume a great deal energy, and are pollutant to the environment, further more, the operational environment and living conditions are bad.In recent years, industrial architecture design is developing rapidly in China. Modern industrial architectures must create a space that adapts to the industrial environmental requirements and humanization requirements.Base on this, the author consulted a lot of reference materials, investigated the history, the development and the trend of the industrial architectures, so as to understand the arrangement and its nature of the industrial architecture. In general, the developing trends of the industrial architecture designs shall come down to one point, that is, the humanization.Humanized design is a new concept in the industrial architecture; it pays devoirs to the humanism and seeks to add feeling to the "cold-blooded" industrial buildings, on the basis of ergonomics and environmental psychology. The theme focuses on the humanization of the design for the chemical industry buildings and spaces. The author probes into and analyzes the humanization demands for the chemical plants, and tries to, on the basis of maslow's theory, take humanized designs and measures for each layer, to embody the humanization into the detail of the design. The trend is, modern chemical plants will have more advanced equipments, cleaner workshop and more pleasing plant environment.
