Facing the challenges of oil shortage and air pollution,Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) becomes one of the main clean vehicles. And it is on the list of National Electric Vehicle Key Projects of the Tenth-Five Plan and 863 hi-tech Program. In this dissertation,with parallel hybrid electric transit bus SLG6120CWE as the main research subject,the hybrid power drive system(HPDS),the multi-energy powertrain control system,the power control strategy,modeling,simulation are studied and analyzed.Firstly,the different structure of the HEB are compared,then we chose a certain drive system fit for SLG6120CWE,based on the control mission,its HPDS model is set up. The working conditions and performance requirements of the most important models including engine,motor and battery are analyzed. The structure of the drive system is conceptive designed based on the recent level of the hybrid electric vehicle in the world. The parameters of the key components are computed and optimally matched by the analysis of the system and their special characteristics.Through analysis of the energy flow of the HPDS on various working modes,a torque control strategy is put forward. The most important control variable of this strategy is the torque. According to total request torque of driver and the engine MAP,the strategy determines the working state of the HPDS and the goal torque of the engine and the motor. And the coordinated control issue of the HPDS is also studied.At last,according to several typical road cycles,the torque control strategy for SLG6120CWE is simulated and analyzed with ADVISOR software in order to validate its good performance and fuel economy. At the same time,we made some improvement to the inadequate part of the PHEB reflecting from the simulation, and the anticipated design targets are reached.
