The earthquake is one of the most hazardous natural disasters. Great improvement has been made in the history of seismic hazard resistance, and the technology of structural earthquake resistance incline to structural control gradually.With the development of the high-rise buikdings height, the lateral loads become more important to the structural analysis and design. Aiming to be with "Low-cost, High-performance, Easy-manufacturing and Convenient-construction", YNEERI studied an energy dissipation frame system consisting of RC brace and steel-rubber friction dissipater. When the frame-tube structure is not so strong, combined with the former systems, dispose the RC fraction energy dissipation braced system in the structure, and RC friction energy dissipation braced frame-tube structure is came into being.It is summarized the classification and development of the passive energy dissipation technology, and the theoretical basis and constitution of RC friction energy dissipation braced system is demonstrated. And analysis method and theory of RC friction energy dissipation braced frame-tube structure is also discussed.After that, it is combined an engineering application of a frame-tube structure which is entirely calculated by using the software as SATWE and ETABS, and the result are compared. By ETABS, model of RC fraction energy dissipation braced frame-tube structure is established. Mode-superposition response spectrum of minor seismic and elastic time-history analysis of energy dissipation braced model is carried out in this paper. Dynamic characteristic, performance of earthquake-resistance, stress variation of structural units and energy dissipation effects are profoundly researched. Seismic reaction analysis of major seismic for both common structure and energy dissipation braced structure is made, compared the performance of earthquake-resistance and energy dissipation effects of the both kinds of structures. And made a conclusion: when the common structure don't follow the codes, RC friction energy dissipation braced structure can provide enough horizon stiffness, and make a good control of the horizon displacement as minor seismic is input. As the major seismic comes, implement of friction energy dissipation is enabled, and "Not collapse on major seismic" is met. According to the research, it is indicated that this system is a new energy dissipation and absorption of vibration system with grate utility value. At last, according to the problems in the process of research and engineering application, this article brings forward the further development orientation of this field and its difficulties and problems which need to be solved.RC friction energy dissipation braced frame-tube structure is the production of combining friction energy dissipation technology and frame-tube structure.It is excellent seismic effect.Analyzed on this new structure system must have a positive action on application in the high-rise building and super high-rise building of RC friction energy dissipation braced system.
