The door is an important part of vehicle body. Its dynamic performance will effect the vibration and noise radiation of whole vehicle. And its stiffness is very important to the dynamic performance and mode frequency distribution of the door. In the thesis, the door of one SRV is used as a research object. The result of FEA is compared with that of test, and the conclusion is satisfactory. The work contains three main aspects:1. Established Finite element model of the door. The mesh generation method and simulation of weld spots are expounded. The problems and their solutions during this process are summarized. Finally, we get a finite element model.2. Static analysis of the door. The aim is to obtain stiffness and strength of the door. Based on this result, the overall evaluation of the door is presented.3. Mode analysis of the door. By Mode analysis, the vibration mode is gotten. Based the result, we evaluate the vibration characteristic of the door. Simultaneity, in order to make sure the door's natural frequency are not close to that of white-body ,optimization is used to the door .And we succeed.4. Modal test of the door. By comparing the result of test with that of analysis, the accuracy of the results of finite element modal and finite element analysis are checked.
