Study On The Space Expansion Of Historic Riverside Town In Suzhou

This paper presents the corresponding point of view against the problems of space expansion of the historic riverside town in SuZhou. The forms of space expansion are influenced by a variety of factors. Which factor plays an important role on space expansion? How do them change in the future? What about the future character of them?This three questions above are the main part of this paper.By anglicizing on many theories & practices, this paper studies the history & status of space expansion of the historic riverside town in SuZhou, and draws conclusion on factors & laws. Also, it studies the future factors & change mechanisms of space expansion and derive future expansion of the features of the ancient water-township on the base of history & status. And the purpose is to provide a theoretical draw for expansion optimization of the historic riverside town in SuZhou as well as other regions.
