The Study On Expansion Mechanism And Strategy In The Limit Of Human's Living Space

As people enter into the second decade of the 21 century, explosive growth of population, what makes the living space further compressed, the consumption of resource far beyond the carrying capacity of nature. Meanwhile, the deterioration of environment and crisis of climate are now being increasingly corrode the ecosphere what has already suffered the seriously damage. Hence where the future of humanity will survive is a new topic that the contemporary architects have to face.In this paper, taking the extends the human survival space as the research object, and according to the relevant research results at home and abroad, From the development of restructuring and spatial incremental update spatial stock development the two aspects to discuss the spatial expansion mechanism, and also summarize the difficulty of expansion, strategies of expansion and methods of operation, which indicate the direction to expand the human living space.The full text is dividing into three parts. The first part is the first two chapters, which analyze and summarize the design theory of expanding the limits of human living space. The first chapter defines the research object and research scope, and overview of literature on domestic and international research dynamic status, and clarity the research significance and research framework of expanding the limits of human living space. The second part is third and forth chapter, which explain the expansion mechanism and expansion strategy of living space. First, at the level of updating and recombinating the space has been discussed the Maximize use of the space, divided into two parts, more development area and less development areal. It has a great increment wait to develop and expand in super high-rise space?underground space?marine space?desert space and polar space. The third part is the fifth chapter, summary and prospect, summarized the operating practice of expansion living space.
