Mechanism Research On The Urban Space Expansion

According to the nature of the urbanization development, ourcountry is being in the period of accelerating urbanization, many citiesface the problems of large-scale city space expansion, such as the riseof various development areas and industrial districts, new developedareas in city and so on. By reviewing the characteristics occurring inthe developed countries and big cities in our country in the period ofindustrialization, this paper combines the foundation theories andsummarizes the patterns about urban space expansion, and analyzesthe related factors that affect the urban space expansion, including thefactors of urban geography environment, urban ecosystem loadingability, humanity, transportation, economic, etc. Then, taking urbanspace expansion in Xingtai for example, proceed the substantialevidence research so as to investigate the mechanism about the urbanspace expansion and establish urban space development strategy to fitwith national circumstance of our country. Finally, it points out that acity should have a different way of space expansion and a reasonablescale of city development in different economic society stage. Seefrom the trend of the whole urban space expansion, the city has itscharacteristic of expanding toward organic-decentration fromcentralization.
