Research On Urban Landscape Architecture Design Strategy Based On Open Space Expansion

With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the expansion of urban space has intensified the pursuit of land value,consumed a limited amount of urban construction land,and created a crowded urban environment.At the same time,the intensive distribution of buildings has,to a certain extent,squeezed the open space of the city,making it appear unevenly distributed,lacking in accessibility and weakening in publicness,and thus urban traffic and ecology are facing a great test.At present,China’s urban construction has changed from incremental expansion to stock optimization,and the improvement of people’s living standard has put forward new demands on urban space.Therefore,optimizing land use,improving urban ecology and enhancing the quality of urban open space under the existing urban environment have become the goals of urban development.Facing the complex urban spatial environment,Landscape architecture has become an important architectural type to coordinate the spatial relationship between city and environment by sorting and reorganizing the relationship between architecture and topography with its integration of site and fluidity of form.On the basis of changing the composition of its own space form,the Landscape architecture extends the external space of the building to the outside,making it a whole with the open space of the city and becoming an active factor to activate the urban space.In response to the spatial problems arising from urban development,this thesis takes urban open space as a breakthrough,combines it with Landscape architecture,proposes the concept of open space expanded urban Landscape architecture,and tries to activate urban open space by using the plasticity of Landscape architecture to multiple spatial elements of the environment.The thesis takes the open spaceexpandable Landscape architecture in urban environment as the research object and uses literature analysis and case study to make a comprehensive comparison.Firstly,the thesis discusses the development and value of Landscape architecture,classifies its types,and elaborates the concept of open space expandable urban Landscape architecture.Secondly,the spatial environment in which the building is located is limited,and the way in which this building type expands urban open space is summarized through three aspects: spatial overlay,path connection,and geomorphic landscape,and the spatial,morphological,and urbanity characteristics of the building are discussed.This is followed by an analysis of the strategies and values of the Landscape practice to illustrate the scenarios and advantages of the open space extended Landscape architecture.Finally,the strategy is applied to the project of the Civic Culture Center on the west side of Jinan’s Qingshuiquan Road.The study aims to summarize the ways in which landscaping architecture can enhance land use efficiency and expand urban open space in dense urban space through a comprehensive analysis of urban open space expansion landscaping architecture,in an attempt to explore the value and advantages of landscaping architecture in participating in urban construction and activating urban space,so that the architecture can enrich the expressive power of urban space and integrate multiple elements of urban space on the basis of optimizing its own morphological structure.It will create urban landscape with natural landscape features and finally form a relaxed,comfortable and vibrant urban space atmosphere.
