Tiny-oil ignition is a revolution of burning technology compare with the tradition ignition. Realized direct-ignition of pulverized coal-air flow with 5% of total fuel oil amount tradition used , it has a wide application prospect . Thus is of great importance to study tiny-oil ignition technology.Numerical simulation method is employed in this thesis to investigate various operating conditions of tiny-oil direct-ignition burner of pulverized coal. Several important factors which influence the ignition of pulverized coal are analyzed, which are pulverized coal concentration and fineness, the inlet velocity of primary air flow, the quantity of fuel oil and the model of plugging of oil-gun. On the basis of before-mentioned study results, the optimal values of before-mentioned factors are produced. And some conditions of starting up of boiler are studied with numerical method. The study results will provide guidance for operation optimization of the burner and starting up of boilers.
