In this paper, the on-line life monitoring technology of the high temperature surface of the boiler is studied . First taking the super-heater for example, the mechanism resulting in the life loss and life evaluation techniques is analyzed. And calculation methods for the wall temperature and equivalent stress of the super-heater is analyzed. Then using the revisedθmethod, considering the on-line life monitoring technology of the steam/water separator and etc., an on-line life loss monitoring system for boiler pressure components in power plant is developed. Last, using the above on-line life loss monitoring system, the life loss two types of super-heater of the No.2 Unit in Qingbei power plant are calculated. In the programming of the monitoring system, the structure based on of database and server and Delphi and SQL database language are used, In the on-line life monitoring system, the real-time monitoring for the important indexes of boiler pressure components and the on-line life management are better realized .
