| The parameters of synchronous generators and transmission lines are the basis of power system analysis and operating control. With the development of power grids interconnection and the introduction of new transmission technologies, on-line power system analysis and control face new chanllenges, which requires power system models and parameters with high precision. Therefore, on-line parameter identification is crucial. Phasor measurement unit (PMU) opens a new path to this problem. In this dissatation, Least Square method is suggested to identify the transmission line parameters and the sensitivity of the identified parameters to the measurements is analyzed. Moreover, the relation between transmission line parameters and sag is deduced, and the scheme of on–line sag monitoring is given. In addition, the idea of combining the coherency equivalence and parameter identification is figured out, and the parameters of synchronous generator of the equivalent area are identified with the non-linear least square method, which extends the application of the closed-loop correcting control. |
