Having passed through year, with its unique form, cultural life and exquisite designs, the traditional Chinese residence is the precious construction cultural in the history, fully showing Chinese people's intelligence and wisdom. But unfortunately, the traditional residence is trending to transformation even worse, in some place it is getting disappearing, because many people think that the old fashion can't meet the needs of modern people. So it is essential for us to do more research to keep the tradition, also to improve its structure. Only in this way can we make great breakthrough in making the old fashion adapt to modern needs. And the residence's outstanding designs that the continuation and development contain can glow the vitality under the new historical conditions.With the development of our society, everything is getting informative and digitized. There would be collision between the traditional culture and the idea of information and digitization. How to make the countryside houses adapt to the society's development, how to maintain the Chinese traditional residence as a possibility of a long-enduring development? How to make full use of Chinese traditional residence design in modern countryside construction? All of them are great challenge to us and should be solved in a correct way.There are so many different types of Chinese traditional residence. They vary with different regions nationalities. But wholly speaking, if we look into their shape, layout, environmental distribution and other aspects, we would find the residence have so many things in common. I summarize the main characteristics of Chinese traditional residence, through analyzing the information of Chinese traditional residence and on-the-spot investigation into residence of partial areas and draw a conclusion that all these general characters are influenced by the Chinese tradition esthetic thought, which is called"the beauties gather one". It is the view of universe, environment, ecology and human relations that influences the Chinese traditional structure and in retune it manifests the idea of"the beauties gather one of people". Now days, human beings have more abilities and power to defeat the nature, yet there is no balance between the person, the environment and the building development any more. As the environment and ecological system are getting worse and worse, it is more and more essential to study and inherit the traditional structure designs. In my opinion, housing of course can cause many trouble in ecology as well as in human nature. And this has been a serious problem since the ancient time. In order to solve the problem, measures have been taken in many areas. Let's take Linyi for example. In the modern rural reconstruction development, I mainly talk about how to make the person, the nature and construction agree with each other and merge into an organic body.Although, more and more people realize that it is important to do research in traditional residence, they study architecture from many aspects such as sociology, history, culture and geography. Yet very few people set foot on how to hermit and develop the perfect ideas and design on traditional residence. In my article as to the ecological designs and human nature, I'll give you some reference and suggestion in reconstruction in rural areas. In the article I express my own opinion, maybe this is what I'm proud of. According to the inspection and analysis on the traditional Chinese residence, I learn that there are so many virtues in it, from which we can get benefit. And I give my opinion on how to learn and inherit the ancient excellent tradition. I also represent some new model and reference for the new rural reconstruction from dealing with the relation between man, environment, construction and ecology correctly.
