The rsearch in the paper was about the heavy-duty vehicle multi-axle steering system of assembled Center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II six bar Mechanism. For the changeable position, the turning degree has different requierment. So it' s very important to the whole performance of the heavy-duty vehicle that designs a steering system to satisfy the tunring requirement. This thesis builds up overall and systemic analytical and comprehensive method of Watt-II steering six-bar linkages from the theories. Especially it will analyse from coupling theories of kinematics. It can serve currently request of many heavy type vehicles steering system.First of all, this article aim at the single center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II steering six bar mechanism and build the model of Center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II steering six bar mechanism. Its main objective is to develop better geometric dimensions for this type of steering mechanism to satisfy the Ackerman Principle. This research will design its size parameter with analytical method, motion simulation based on ADAMS and got to imitate a true data homologously. It will imitate reality to check data and theories number to carry on contrasting an error margin analysis, discover the design result is satisfy the design request of center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II steering six bar mechanism. So it verify accuracy of the design .The Center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II steering six bar System consisting of Center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II steering six bar mechanism from each representative's position could make the model of Center-arm-linkage-type Watt-II steering six bar system based on ADAMS, and then analyz the turning degree error of all toggle arms in motion simulation. It will not only find the rsearch applied scope, but also verify the rational of design. The numerical value analytical method and ADAMS simulation was used on the steering system of the the heavy-duty vehicle, the work solved the key problem in the steering systemdesign. It also did good to promote the correlative task.
