The Closed Differential Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is a new CVT which has broad application and preferable performances. At present, the design technology of Closed Differential CVT is still the traditional mode in our country, so a set of parametric design system which developed for Closed Differential CVT has very important practical significance for improving the design efficiency and shortening the period of development of the CVT. In addition, the calorifacient problem in the course of work of CVT can not be neglected, so it is necessary to do thermal analysis to the key parts of CVT.Based on the Closed Planetary Bevel-type CVT, the thesis uses the SolidWorks and VB as the main development tools, and develops the parametric design system of the Closed Planetary Bevel-type CVT, and does the thermal analysis on the planetary bevel-plate transmission module of CVT. The main points of the thesis are listed below:Firstly, the 3D model pattern plates for parts and engineering drawing are set up based on the 2D parts figures of the Closed Planetary Bevel-type CVT.Secondly, the parametric design system of the Closed Planetary Bevel-type CVT is developed, which includes the files browse, parametric design of parts, design and calculation of CVT, management of database, mate and online help module. And there is property modification function in the parametric design module of parts. In the end, the finite element analysis on the planetary bevel-plate transmission module of CVT is done by using the finite element analysis tool COSMOSWorks, and it can validate whether the design of parts is correct or not.At last, at the same time of doing theoretical thermal analysis on the planetary bevel-plate transmission module of CVT, the situation of the module's distributing of thermal field is analyzed by using the finite element analysis software ANSYS.The thesis provides reference value for the development of parametric design system of the similar equipment and the thermal analysis by using ANSYS software.
