Suspender is a very important component of half through or through arch bridge,which can be called 'life line'.Due to the cognition of corrosion preventing and structure behaviour is not so clear,some arch bridges built in earlier years have brought with their suspenders problems like disrepair and corrosion,which seriously affects the arch bridges' durability and security.With the development of bridge career,engineering practice and scientific study about these problems are being carried out closely.But it's still a long time to go before these problems are absolutely solved.And replacing suspender is an effective method to lustrate the hidden trouble of arch bridges' security for already-problematic bridges.While many arch bridges haven't been considered the suspender replacement previously,it brings great difficulties in replacing suspender.How to guarantee the efficiency of construction method and structural security during construct process,also ensure the internal force and displacement of completed bridges in a reasonable state ,is what needs to solve in the suspender replacement project.Based on the suspender replacing project of the Neijiang x-style arch bridge on Chengyu High Speed Way,construction method and procedure in replacing the suspender of an x-style arch bridge were presented, as well as the aim,content and method of construction control.At the same time based on structural optimization design method,a quadratic programming model of the x-style arch bridge's cable force optimization was established.And according to different optimization aims and constraint conditions, corresponding optimization results of cable force were obtained.Finite element model of this bridge was established to analyze the finished dead load state and operation state.Results show that adapting temporary suspender for a replacement to x-style arch bridges was efficient and possible. |
