In face of the chance an challenge,CBD show on a compositive and ecologic trend of development.As an artificial and ecologic system with the feather of high centralization of economy,substance,information and population,CBD is a frail unself-discipline ecologic system. So that,in face of the challenge of environment,population,economy,culture,value,traffic and information revolution,it has become a important study to achieve the sustainability of CBD by urban planning.The study takes use of the basic idea and principle of ecology and system,and studies a lot of examples of CBD in and outdoors as well as theory about CBD,so as to find out the up—to—date CBD'S character,ecologic development trend and the basic subject which the sustainable CBD focus on at first.(in the second chapter) And then ,we study the sustainable planning of the CBD'S city system as a support subsystem of ecologic system,including the orientation of CBD,the function system,the structure of CBD,the green system,the outside space form,the traffic system and the exploitation,to find out the sustainable element and the approach of them. (in the third chapter) In the last,we study the approach to ascertain the scale of CBD by use of"ecologic sustainability"model. (in the third chapter) So as to explode the approach to sustainable CBD in urban planning.
