Study On Inventive Design Of Hydraulic Turbo-Generator Set Based On TRIZ

Hydraulic turbo-generator set is a complicated mechanical system, which comprises mechanics, electrics, electromagnetics, and hydrodynamics. After the technology developed and practiced for one hundred years, its design theory has come to mature. It is urgent for the enterprises to solve the problem how to complete the present products and develope the new substituted technology.TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) is a theory about invention and concept design. It is an integrated theory composed of all kinds of methods for solving technical problem and innovative development, and arithmetics. It has provided a series of tools for engineering problems, such as inventive principles, separation principles, standard solutions and effections database.Firstly, according to the technology matured hydraulic turbo-generator set, Directed Evolution theory is chosen to forecast the future technology. Evolution models and lines are given, and then the aerating and cooling system and the adjusting system are analyzed and forecasted. Also the generator set technology is forecasted followed.Secondly, TRIZ theory and arithmetics are used to solve the engineering problems, and feasible solutions are provided. When the temperature field is analyzed, we find that the temperature of the stator and rotator has exceed the design. On the base of investigation, reverse fishbone diagram and function information model are built to confirm the engineering problem. Then conflict solving theory is applicated to provide all possible solutions.Finally, all possible solutions are appraised and compared, then the optimal solution is adopted, and effect is confirmed.Through the study on TRIZ theory application to hydraulic turbo-generator set, further research in TRIZ application to generator set technology development has been grounded.
