According to the requirement of Room Air Conditioners(GB/T7725-2004), the monitoring device of positive displacement refrigerating compressor unit with the refrigerating capacity in the range of 3.49~35kw for the air conditioning unit manufacture was constructed to measure the performance parameters of unit and calculate COP of the uint finally.Based on the detailed analysis of the performance measuring methods, the balanced ambient room-type calorimeter was optimized, and tested by the method of liquid refrigerant flowrator The balanced ambient room-type calorimeter to be designed used a set of air treatment device. The evaporator matched with the tested refrigerating unit shared part of the refrigerating capacity of working unit when the treated circulating air passed the evaporator. As a result, the lab design was simplified, the construction cost was saved and the energy cost was decreased greatly.Many technical methods were tried to solve the problems brought by the simplified design system. Subcooler was applied in the design, part of the refrigerant of working refrigerating system after expansion valve was used to overcool the condensate of tested refrigerating system to ensure that the refrigerant was liquid when it passed through the flowrator and processed precision and stability of refrigerant flowrate of tested refrigerating system; the evaporator matched with the tested refrigerating unit was designed to be area-adjustable to ensure that refrigerating capacity to be measured could be measured in the range of 7~35kw and the cost of replacing the evaporator should be decreased; optimization controll of the stable control and dynamic process with many parameters, many conditions and high precision was achieved by the computer autocontrol system; the measuring system applied a novel method to improve the measuring precision and the tested parameters could be autcontrolled accurately.The spot test results showed that this system could not only meet the precision requirement of the spot test, but also have a good stability.
