In this paper, the history, the current situation and the development trend of the concrete mixing truck are researched both inside and outside our country, and the classification, the transportation type, the technology requirement, the structure and the form principle of concrete mixing truck are comprehensively discussed. Based on which, the 12m3 concrete mixing truck is developed, and the key technologies are studied. The main working of this paper is as follows:1. The assembly project of the 12m3 concrete mixing truck is established, and its hydraulic system is designed.2. The relation between rotation speed of the mixing drum and homogeneous quality of concrete is researched, which is concluded that the constant speed control is very important to homogeneous quality of concrete.3. Based on the simulation software AMESIM, the hydraulic system of 12m3 concrete mixing truck is simulated. The simulation result indicates that the cement concrete mixing truck operates steadily in the feed-in process, but the impulsion appears when the work mode is changed.4. The model of constant velocity control is built, and the simulation for constant velocity control is implemented, and from which the varying rule of rotation of the mixing drum is discovered.5. A series of test in the actual working condition are carried out, the results verified extraordinary advantages of the constant rotation speed.
