The Analysis Of The Pile's Quality On Jinbin-Light-Metro

As the commonly used foundations in the bridge engineering, pile has many advantages, such as high bearing capacity, good stability, little and homogeneous vertical settlement, facility for mechanical construction and good applicability. So, this kind of foundation has been widely used in the light-metro construction in our country. In this paper, the object of research is piles'quality testing. Based on a lot of literature, firstly the development history of the study on vertical bearing capacity is introduced. Then, the load behavior and failure mechanism of pile under axial load are analyzed, and the conventional calculation methods are summarized. Furthermore, some currently prevalent testing methods and their testing aim are generalized. Also, the methods of light-way piles'quality control are discussed from the view of design, construction, quality testing and the evaluation on the whole respectively. In the end, some relevant conclusions are drawn.The precondition to insure the quality of pile foundations is the correct design of their bearing capacity. Designers should estimate the approximate range of the bearing capacity according to design experience of the location first of all, then carry out bearing capacity testing on certain numbers of devastating testing piles based on the numbers of designed pile foundations.The main goal of light-way pile foundation design is the control of the settlement after construction, i.e., the requirement of light-metro is stricter. In this way, security and comfort of the train can be guaranteed. That is the slight difference between light-way design and house design.As to the quality evaluation of pile foundations, the methods of mathematical statistics are used to analyze the results of pile foundation testing, so that the quality evaluation is reasonable. Moreover, experience and reference can be used in future light-way construction.
