Flood And Rainstorm Characteristic Analysis And Water Level Design Of Mainstream In Xiaoqing River Of Jinan City

The flood in most part of China is formed by rainstorm. The flood disaster formed by catastrophic flood posed a grave threat to Chinese people's survival and development for a long time. Since time immemorial, river management and flood control construction concern people's safety and our country's ebb and flow. Xiaoqing River is the only floodway channel in Jinan city and the coastal area. In Xiaoqing River, high rainfall intensity, short duration of storm rainfall and the river rise suddenly and descend slowly, so it caused disastrous flood easily.The flood in Xiaoqing River of Jinan city is formed by rainstorm. So it's the basis of flood routing and river bank elevation to analyze the characteristic of flood and rainstorm. In order to have a comprehensive grasp of the characteristic of flood and rainstorm, we collected twelve precipitation station's daily precipitation of several decades in Jinan city and the coastal area. On this ground, we analyze the river basin property, precipitation space-time distribution property, runoff space-time distribution property, the cause of rainstorm and flood, rainstorm and flood in history and typical rainstorm and flood. Our purpose of analyzing is to find the correspondence of rainstorm and flood. And also we want to provide foundation to flood control decision. On the basis of analyzing a great deal of precipitation and flood information, we got overall river basin unit line and part river basin unit hydrographs around 1996. It may provide foundation to analyze runoff production and routing.Combined with Jiao-dong line of east route of South-to-North water transfer project, in order to raise the flood control and waterlogging prevention standard , lighten the flood loss and improve the urban environment and investment environment, comprehensive treatment to Xiaoqing River is essential and imperious. According to Jinan city's program, we will widen the river and detain river water in the main stream of Xiaoqing River which is 31 kilometers long. Then Xiaoqing River will become a comprehensive river which includes flood control, waterlogging prevention, irrigation, landscape. The paper gave out the river bank elevation of the mainstream. And this paper raise the influence factor we should concern when we design the river bank elevation. And also we should distinct flood season and non-flood season and considerate the flood control demand and landscape impact when we design the river bankelevation.
