The heat pipe has the advantages of fast heat transfer speed, small thermal resistance andexcellent heat conductivity. The radiant floor heating system provides a energy-saving andcomfortable heatting environment. As it is a new type of heating method with heat pipeinstead of plastic pipe, this paper studied the application of heat pipe in the solar energyradiant floor heating system, aiming at solving the existing problems and proposing a newheat pipe which is suitable for solar radiation floor heating system.First of all, to the condition of natural cooling in air, the temperature characteristics ofcondensation section of the heat pipe were studied experimentally.It is found that copper-water heat pipe has the maximum heat transfer ability when the length ratio of condensationsection and evaporating section is6:1.Secondly, experiments are carried out to study radiant floor heating system with heatpipe, analyzing how water temperature and the number of heat pipe influences the floorsurface temperature.It is found that,to the condition of two heat pipe heating area of3030cm2floor,when the heat source temperature of supply water is44.5℃, the surfacetemperature of the floor can reach to29℃, and when the heat source temperature is35.2℃,the surface temperature of the floor can reach to26℃. Compared with the heat exchangecapacity of plastic pipe, it is found that, in the same conditions, the surface temperature of theheat pipe heating system is2℃higher than the plastic heating system.Thirdly,aiming at solving the problem exiting in the solar energy heating system, a twomedium solar heating system is proposed, which has the advantages of antifreezing andreducing the water temperature when the solar radiant is very strong.Finally, a gas-liquid separaed type heat pipe is proposed, which has small flow resistanceand whose heat exchange area of evaporation section and condensation section can varyaccording to demand.
