Ecology building is the trend of construction in the 21st century. Pushing the ecology building is a concrete practice of the development of energy conservation housing community. It's necessary to give an overall examination of the cost of housing, not only the initialization cost, but also the future running cost, and the relationship between correlation parts in the housing markets. After giving a brief introduction of the development history of ecology building and the whole lifecycle engineering cost management, the author analyses the present situation of research and development and the existing problems at ecology housing. Secondly, the author defines the stages of ecology housing in the whole lifecycle, according to the theory of whole lifecycle engineering cost; emphasizes the infective factors of ecology housing, especial in energy conservation technology, at the stage of plan, design, construction and maintenance. Thirdly, the author discusses the formula and the analysis steps of whole lifecycle cost, and analyses the initialization cost and the future running cost. Then the author evaluates the applied affects of Housing Community. Lastly., the author analyses the structure of cost and the funds flowing in the housing market, which causes a price problem of ecology housing. Figuring out the problem, the author makes a whole lifecycle cost assigning model of ecology housing ;then gives a proposal about the popularizing ecology housing among government, corporation and consumer.According to the theory of economics and engineering cost, the author researches the lifecycle cost of ecology housing through the method of investigation and contrast. Then, innovatively makes a whole lifecycle cost assigning model of ecology housing, which promotes the spread of it.
