With the purpose of enhancing the level of automatic and control accuracy of the hydraulic system, the connection among hydraulic technology, electronic technology and computer is more and more tightly, it is just the character of the development of modern hydraulic technology. In the proportional pump it makes use of the synthesis of microeletronic technique, computer technology, proportional control technology and volume governor, with excellent control method, finally get the purpose of energy conservation, high performance and the high accuracies of control system come into truth. As we known the working performance and the dependability of the hydraulic system is influenced by the pump, and it occupants an important position in the hydraulic system.In this paper through the research of development of the pump and electro-hydraulic technology, the author clarifies the purpose of this subject. In order to get a well know about the control system, there is a detailed introduction of electro-hydraulic proportional control technology in chapter 1 .Fefit method of the variable pump was discussed in the main part of this paper in Chapter 2~4. The author build the mathematic model of the pump's control system, and then through the calculation of the parameter and the analyses of the emulation curve with the action of SIMULINK and m function in Matlab, finally find out the parameter which influenced the performance of the proportional pump, what provides the good leading function for the research of the proportional pump. There is a simple introduction in chapter 5, and get the conclusion in the last chapter 6.When building the mathematic model we simplified the model of the pump into symmetry valve control the asymmetry cylinder, because of the action square are different between the with cylinder rod one and the without one, here comes the different transfer function when the cylinder rod overhang and retract, however with the introducing of active area Ame, get the two functions into together, finally get the simply form of the control system. With the action of the PID controller, the performance of the control system was enhanced. In addition there are some other controllers designed by the author in the paper like with the principle of pressure feedback, acceleration feedback and structure invariance, and finally get the ideal control system.
