With the development of new materials, power electronics technology, high-speed machine which is one of the new type special machines gradually becomes a pop subject in the world. The high-speed generator is used by distributed power generation system and stand-alone power source. In this paper, the high-speed machine is used as generator. However, the output voltage of the traditional induction generator is difficult to keep constant during the machine speed and load variation. The dual stator winding induction generator can solve this problem by adding the compensating winding to provide a controllable excitation power supply. The main work could be list as follow:Firstly, design a 12000r/min dual stator winding high-speed induction generator. Single-layer chain winding is used as types of power and compensating windings, and the place of power and compensating windings is separated by 30°electric angle at the space, so the mutual leakage inductance between power and compensating windings is decoupled in d-q coordinate. Then the validity of theory analysis is proved by the simulation results.Secondly, the control strategy is selected from the mature ones by analyzed. Based on mathematic model of dual stator winding high-speed induction generator, the model is set up by S-function. The model of dual stator winding induction generator system discussed above has been simulated in Matlab/Simulink environment, and stator flux-oriented vector control strategy is used by this system. For improving the quality of power supply, fuzzy controller is used in this generator system. The simulation results show that the fuzzy control system has a faster dynamic response than that of the traditional PID controller.Thirdly, after changing Y801-4 induction motor to dual stator winding induction generator, the validity of dual stator winding induction generator's theory is proved by the results of experimentation. When the prime mover is driving generator, the voltage of generator is established by self-excitation capacitance and residual magnetism action. Reactive current of the compensating winding is regulated by the excitation regulator to change the output voltage of the generator.
