The dissertation is on the research of for the Methodology of Ecology Architecture Design.Hot-summer and cold-winter zone in China as the chosen climatical background , Taking The Design of Artists'Studio , China International Practical Exhibition of Architecture as study case , the research covers the whole design process and abstracts the conclusion concerning Methodology.Firstly ,with the awareness of the framework of ecology ,it presents a framework model constructed by the three cardinal elements : climate , building , and site, which come from ecology , architecture , and geography.Later, comparing and combining the factors in the design frame, the main design points are obtained. The points bear the final design result after colliding each other. With the help of Phoenics—a software specialized in fluid simulation, a series of comparison simulation concerning the possible layout of the convex balcony are carried out. All these may readily be taken as reference for the architectural design.Lastly, seeing ecology factor impacts as the research object in Artists'Studio the design process, the paper distills 5 ecology design models, which are ecological deducing design model, ecological design model of game theory, ecological coinciding design model, ecological optimizing design model, generalization optimizing design model. The research recognizing the various impacts of ecological factors , embodying the complexity of ecology design , provides an evaluation method , as well as a series of conclusions focusing on the practical design .
