China is a multi-seismic country, the earthquake disaster give the country and the people great loss for a long time, In the past, our country used seismic instruments to combat the earthquake disaster. With the economic and social development, the buildings seismic design proposed more stringent requirements on the safety and practicality, particularly the industry develop toward to high-precision technology, the traditional anti-seismic engineering design can not satisfy the needs. So, the earthquake engineers carry out the theory research and practice on base isolation, which have achieved rapid development. In recent years, as a kind of isolation technology, the laminated rubber bearing base isolation develop relative rapidly, if the top of the structures set up the laminated rubber bearings, the upper part of the buildings will move in a state and decrease the displacement and acceleration between floors of the structures to reduce structural response. This paper do the following as:(1) Amending the aspect ratio limit theoretical formula derivation of the base isolation.(2) Identifying the isolated structure model;(3) damping matrix processing;(4) ANSYS simulation model analysis. This paper uses ANSYS software to set up a pure-frame structure under a kind of flat structure, which has six, eight, ten, 11, 13, 14, 15 layer, in EL-Centrol wave, comparing and calculating between isolated structures and non isolated structures , the laminated rubber bearing scope can be known, and the six-storey frame structure is calculated earthquake response of isolation and non-isolation structures in high-level earthquake and rarely met earthquake, at last, this paper has a comparative analysis on isolated effect of base isolation structures.
