The hybrid stepping motor has the best performance among all kinds of motor, it's also the widely used kind of stepping motor in the field of industrialcontrol now. This dissertation does some embedded investigation focused on the high performance position servo system of the 2-phase hybrid stepping motor which has 12 poles and 50 tooth on the rotor.Firstly, this dissertation analyzes the running principle of the three-phase hybrid step motor, and Applying simple magnetic network model, the thesis deduces several equations to establish mathematics model of 3-phase hybrid stepper motor by ignoring some non-linear factors. The relationship between the three-phase hybrid stepping motor and the synchronous motor is studied, and the 3-phase hybrid stepping motor is regarded as a kind of stepping synchronous motor. the thesis deduces the torque equations of 3-phase hybrid stepper motor on the basis.The vector control methods for the 3-phase hybrid stepping motor of remarkable armature rection is established. This method makes full use of the electrical-magnetic torque and the reluctance torque, to achieve the efficient torque control.At the same time, this paper study the vector control technology of the voltage space vector PWM (SVPWM) which will be applied to the servo system design, making the torque ripple which has been made the hybrid stepping motor pulse of the magnetic field has been reduced ,and decreases the current waveform distortion, improve utilization of DC voltage.The 3-phase hybrid stepping motor vector control and voltage space vector PWM (SVPWM) position servo system is designed and tested at the end of this dissertation based on Digital signal processor-DsPIC30F6010A. The system actualizes the concordant control of the motor's d-axis and q-axis currents. high precision the location information after the appropriate software and hardware treatment.System and the hardware structure and program block are given.Through the preliminary analysis of experiment, the system to achieve the better design requirements.
