Building energy efficiency is not only the important content of building sustainable development, but also the trend and need of world. With rapid developing of economics and upgrading of quality of life, comfortable air conditioning buildings are quickly popularized, which leads to wide-range increase of air conditioning energy consumption. As an energy-hungry developing country, high air conditioning energy consumption will certainly confine the regional economical development and restrict increase of people's lives standard. Thus how to reduce energy consumption of building through effective energy-saving measures becomes hot subjects which need to be settled as quickly as possible.External envelope structure has always been an important research in building energy efficiency, especially in cold zone and hot summer and cold winter zone. This paper chooses residential buildings in Chongqing, establish the initial model in accordance with the current practice of building construction, and use DEST-h energy simulation software to calculate energy consumption. And the paper calculate energy consumption of external walls, roof, windows and shade in different situation , analyze different energy-saving technologies on the impact of building energy consumption, to get key technology point. Finally, according to the specific situation in Chongqing, combining of these key energy-saving technologies, it gets energy-saving measures suitable for Chongqing.Energy-saving measures and optimization are based on the theoretical analysis and computer simulation, thus it have certain significance. The author hopes that the optimal theory and technical measures concluded in this dissertation could contribute to the expansion of energy efficiency practice in Chongqing.
